This was fantastic. If you guys can find other areas to make ethics interesting, that would be super. They are so hard to find and when you do find them, they are dry and boring. This was very engaging!

I appreciated how engaging and "hands-on" this training was. The scenarios and time to reflect really added to the experience.

I am a student in my masters program and currently doing my first set of hours at a private owned company who serves the Spanish speaking and/or Hispanic/Latincommunity and this has been incredibly helpful and eye opening. Thank you for this training! I definitely will be applying what I learned coming into the social work field

This training really opened my eyes see how culture impacts ethical thinking. My Western-thinking mind was able to shift to a new perspective.

I loved learning about the concepts of familiso, personalismo and respeto as someone who is unfamiliar with Latino culture. And I found it extremely relevant, as these concepts generalize to many Asian and Pacific Island cultures, of which I am intimately familiar. (at least familiso and respeto). But I also see application of this directly to many of my Latino clientele. Also, it was such a great lens for approaching the topic of Ethics, because it made ethics so much more practical and pulled it out of its usual theoretical box.

I particularly enjoyed deconstructing the ethical assumptions that may harm the LatinX population.

I loved the content provided. I myself work in an area where there is limited access to Spanish speaking counselors and sometimes I am faced with the questions discussed in the presentation as one of the Spanish speaking counselors available. The Matrix for the Five steps of asking yourself these questions when trying to work out an ethical dilemma is very useful and something I am going to incorporate in my practice.
