Clinical Supervision & Consultation

Clinical supervision is essential for the professional growth and ethical development of graduate students and newly licensed mental health providers. We offer structured, reflective supervision that strengthens clinical skills, diagnostic clarity, case conceptualization, and professional identity.

Our approach is grounded in Dr. Priscila Llamosa’s Critical Relational Model, which integrates a relational framework with an intersectionality lens. Supervision centers the therapeutic relationship while addressing power, culture, identity, and systemic influences that impact clinical work. We provide a collaborative, supportive space that also encourages thoughtful challenge and accountability.

Areas of focus include, but are not limited to:

  • Clinical assessment and diagnosis

  • Culturally responsive case conceptualization

  • Ethical decision-making

  • Evidence-based practice integration

  • Use of self, transference, and countertransference

  • Sociocultural and systemic dynamics in treatment

Clinical supervision is available to Social Workers, Mental Health Counselors, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, and Psychiatric Residents seeking licensure supervision or advanced clinical consultation.
