Join the CCDS Board of Directors and help strengthen a mission-driven nonprofit advancing clinical supervision training, mental health professional development, and inclusive professional education. We are seeking values-aligned board members who believe in accessible, culturally affirming, and justice-oriented learning for mental health professionals, supervisors, educators, and students.

Why Serve on our Board?

Serving on the board is an opportunity to help guide a growing nonprofit organization committed to expanding access to high-quality clinical supervision training and professional development for mental health professionals. Board members support the mission, provide strategic insight, strengthen community relationships, and help CCDS grow with integrity, accountability, and purpose.


As a board director, you may have the opportunity to:
 

  • Contribute to strategic planning and organizational growth

  • Support fundraising, partnership development, and community visibility

  • Share expertise in governance, finance, nonprofit leadership, marketing, education, or mental health

  • Help expand access to clinical supervision training, consultation, and continuing education for therapists

  • Serve as a thought partner in advancing CCDS’s mission and long-term sustainability

We welcome interest from individuals who bring a strong commitment to equity, collaboration, and community impact. We are especially interested in people with experience in:

  • Clinical supervision or mental health leadership

  • Community engagement and partnership building

  • Higher Education

  • Nonprofit governance

  • Fundraising or grant development
     

We also value diverse lived experiences, identities, perspectives, and professional backgrounds that can strengthen our board and deepen our impact.

Who We’re Looking For

What is Expected

Our Board consists Directors who serve as Directors at Large. While specific responsibilities may evolve, board members are generally expected to:

  • Attend board meetings and participate actively in discussions and decision-making

  • Support the mission, values, and strategic direction of CCDS

  • Act in the best interest of the organization and uphold ethical governance practices

  • Contribute time, expertise, and connections in ways that are meaningful and sustainable

  • Support outreach, fundraising, and ambassador efforts as able
